Transformation program carried out in the framework of the Methodology developed by the Central team of transformation of the “Samruk-Kazyna".

At the heart of a sustainable transformation three key areas in the parallel work:

  • Process - the formation of uniform, transparent, standardized process model, which describes the company's activities;
  • People - the analysis and improvement of skills and competencies of people required to fulfill the new tasks;
  • Technology - definition of prerequisites for process automation activities.


Also, JSC NC "KazMunayGas" is implementing a number of urgent initiatives, the so-called "quick wins". These are projects with quick effect. Within the KMG transformation program is scheduled over 30 "quick wins".

Among them a project on improving procurement systems, development of reference models, update KMG Strategy until 2025, development of the Tree and Model of creation of value of the company and the decomposition efficiency, job evaluation by HaY method, Program for optimization of pumping equipment, the introduction of the Concept of the digital field, drilling by separate service, diagnostics and optimization of process of repair of oilfield equipment, repair and overhaul of wells, optimization and restructuring of the transport support processes, the creation of the Bloc on the oilfield service assets.
